The Gods are crazy

He is undoubtedly one of the greatest footballer the world has ever seen, but probably the worst coach Argentina could have chosen. Its the mans charisma and godlike status that Diego Aramando Maradona is still leading Argentina into the 2010 WC after barely scraping through the qualifications. Charismatic players rarely make good coaches and the main reason is probably cos they still believe that their superstardom will make miracles happen. After having tried out almost the whole bench strength of Argentina, the coach is still nowhere near with a stable team. The team was my favourite in the last WC, mainly cos of the Messi, who is in even better form and class now. But if Maradona continues to be the coach, it'll truly require the hand of god to guide them past Nigeria, Korea and Greece, none of whom can be taken lightly.
