The German army is coming!

The German has seen the cup slipping out of its reach more than its fair share of times in recent past. Reaching 2nd and 3rd spot in the last two WC campaigns and then ending up runners up in the latest Euro cup must have been heartbreaking. All the more reason to up the ante and come out with all guns blazing. Their main players are still there from the last WC and they must be really desperate to get their hands on the Cup. That and the fact that their coach is totally in sync with the team spirit when he said that "Meticulous and painstaking hard work is the only way to succeed" makes the German Team my favourites for this WC. Their only downside- their own consistency comes in the way of their going beyond their limits.
